of all the other bills. If the median amount due
for a month was $32, what was the average
amount due in a month during those six months?

答案為B…但我不了解題目在寫什麼

therefore, (x+x+x+x+x+4x)/6=9x/6=3x/2
median=(x+x)/2=x, thus x=32

so, put x=32 into 3x/2=3*32/2=48

既然四月是其它月分的四倍，照順序來排為x,x,x,x,x,4x
中位數為第三和第四的平均(x+x)/2=x=32

既然四月是其它月分的四倍，照順序來排為x,x,x,x,x,4x
中位數為第三和第四的平均(x+x)/2=x=32

不好意思，再請教一下，從題目那裡可以知道除四月以外其他五個月的bill都是一樣為x...?, 如何知道其他五個月的bill數字相同？

那怎能說四月的帳單是其它月分的四倍呢? 也許有3倍，2倍，6倍

考試時好像很容易出現這種題目，看不出來就很可憐了，白白浪費答對機會…
