If positive integer x is a multiple of 6 and positive integer y is a multiple of 14, is xy a multiple of 105?
(1) x is a multiple of 9.
(2) y is a multiple of 25.
ANSWER IS b

要知道xy是不是105的倍數,也就是要判斷xy有沒有105的因數(105= 3x5x7)
1) X是9的倍數, 原本就知X是6的倍數
所以第一條件只知X是6跟9的公倍數( XY至此只有105裡的3跟7, 沒有5)
因此不充分
2) X是25的倍數, 原本就知道Y是14的倍數
所以Y是25跟14的公倍數 (有5跟7)
加上題目就知道X是6的倍數(有3這個因數)
所以第二條件就知道XY是 105的倍數
條件充分, 選B
