If p is a positive odd integer, what is the remainder when p is divided by 4 ?

(1) When p is divided by 8, the remainder is 5.

(2) p is the sum of the squares of two positive integers.

我是對(2)有點問題
P為奇正整數
若p為根號4 加 根號9 , p=5 餘數為 1
p為根號4 加 根號25, p=7 餘數為3
所以(2)變不充份, 有人可以幫忙解惑一下囉~~

原來我耍笨...題目是問平分,不是開根號 @_@
所以P=(1+2N)^2+(2M)^2=1+4N+4N^2+4M^2
餘數必是1...
