The points R,T, and U lie on a circle that has radius 4. If the length of arc RTU is 4拍/3, what is the length of line segment RU?

A. 4/3
B. 8/3
C. 3
D. 4
E. 6

Ans: D(???4不是半徑嗎??怎麼可能是RU的長度啊?)

剛好會...解一下看看... :smile

此圓的周長為2*4P=8p
arc RTU is 4p/3=8p*X/360 X為度數
可求出X=60度
所以由圓心及R,U所組成的為正三角型.....
其邊長=半徑=6摟! :laugh

答案是4,

1.
arc RTU = 4拍/3
4拍/3 除以 8拍(圓周) = 1/6
1/6 * 360 = 60度

2. 所以得知角度是60度, 同時是等腰三角形, 因為兩邊Center距離R和Center距離U是半徑, 相等
60度 / 2 = 30度 => 劃一條線line RU => 從圓心劃一條線垂直於line RU, 發現出現直角三角形, 30-60-90度, 斜邊4, 30度所對應的長度將是2 => 2*2=4
所以答案是line RU是4
