這一題我想請大家幫我澄清一下排列組合的觀念
我的算法是
總合為8=>所以是(5,3) and (3,5)
第一次取5(5,3):6/1*1
第二次取5(3,5):1*6/1
6/1+6/1=1/3

但我看CD的算法如下,我懂他的意思,不過我想知道我的算法,哪邊出了差錯

The number of ways that the sum of the numbers on the 2 cards is 8 is 5，i.e., 2,6 6,2 3,5 5,3 4,4. So th probability that one of the 2 cards drawn is numbered 5 is obviously 2/5

不過題目的意思是:已知這兩張卡相加為8,求其中一張卡是5的機率
這樣就是2/5

如果題目問:求任意抽出兩張(抽完會放回)其中是(5,3)or(3,5)的機率為何
那就是2/6*6=1/18

不好意思 , 可是按照題目的原意 1-6張卡片 是不會出現兩張4的情況啊, 不是嗎?

所以 (4,4)*1= 1種

明明就已經把組合列出來了但不知道要怎麼去算出2/5......:Q

我覺得這題目怪怪的, If S + V, S + V
這樣我直接想到的是你算出的總和是8併上條件其中一個是5, 在整個機率裡面是多少?
這句英文我看不出有, 取出是5的機率, 以總和是8的條件在母數裡面為基礎的意涵.

簡單說, 以總和是8為母數, 或者是兩次取出的次數但不考慮點數為母數, 這句英文不清楚.

若要翻譯, 會變成, 如果取出的號碼總和是8, 請問其中一個是5的機率佔多少?
其中是5的機率, 佔整個遊戲的1/18, 不是佔總合8母數的2/5, 當然題目沒有1/18, 所以只能選2/5, but not concise and clear

If the cards are drawn at random and if the sum of the numbers on the cards is 8, on the basis of that ,what is the probability that one of the two cards drawn is numbered 5 ? 或許這樣會清楚一點點
