If for the seven days Store S sold the greatest number of copies on Saturday and the second greatest number of copies on Friday, did Store S sell than 11 copies on Friday?

(1) Last week Store S sold 8 copies of the book on Thursday.
(2) Last week Store S sold 28 copies of the book on Saturday.

If x and y are integers, is the value of x(y+1) even?

(1) x and y are prime numbers
(2) y>7

Answer : C 請問條件一 (3,5) (11,13) .....不是都可以讓value是偶數嗎

第一題的條件一資訊實在是太少了, 因為題目只有告訴你7天都銷售不一樣的數字,而銷售總數是90, 再加上條件一只說星期四銷售了8本, 但它並沒有告訴你最多的那一天星期六到底銷售多少數字, 其可能很大, 也可能只有20幾本的數字, 如星期六銷售很多的話那麼星期五可能不會銷售超過11本, 但如果只有20幾本的話,其星期五的銷售額可能就超過11本, 所以實在無法從條件一得到合理的答案

至於第二題, 你可能忘了2也是質數, 如y=2, 而x=3呢, 那麼得出來的答案可會是奇數的, ETS實在是很喜歡考2這個質數, 因為大部份人都會忘了, 所以要特別注意

題目有錯,

我針對(2).
全部90本 - 周六38本 = 52 本書
假設周五賣11本書, 每一天都要不一樣, 周四10, 周三9, 週二8, 週一7, 周日6 <== 這樣如果成立的話可以推翻題目說至少要週五11本
但是 10+9+8+7+6=40本書
再加上週五40+11 = 51本書, 不足52本, 因為週六賣掉38本,
所以週五若是賣11本, 將會出現即使其他日子都是最大的不同書本數, 也無法滿足條件52本, 因此周五一定要超過11本書, 才可以成立, 周五more than 11 books, 因此(2) sufficient

這題我做過, 竟然又錯, 真是 = =''', 我發現考試一緊張, 正確率還是受到影響,

接下來就不太對勁了
考慮周五 >11本----->假設周五賣12本------>所以剩下40本
每天賣不同數量的書,有可能是11本,9本,8本,7本,5本
再考慮周五 <11本---->假設周五賣10本----->所以剩下42本
每天賣不同數量的書,有可能是9本,8本,7本,6本,2本
所以(2)也無法單獨條件充分,因為看起來周五>11本 or <11本,都可以成立

(1)(2)合在一起也不可能

我想可能你是出在加法加錯的問題
依你舉的例子
再考慮周五 <11本---->假設周五賣10本----->所以剩下42本
每天賣不同數量的書,有可能是9本,8本,7本,6本,2本 9+8+7+6+2=32 可剩下42本書, 所以周五不可能 <11本

所以答案是B
