Each of the offices in a certain building has a floor area of 200, 300, or 350 square feet. How many offices are on the first floor of the building?

問有多少間辦公室?

(1) There is a total of 9,500 square feet of office floor space on the first floor of the building.
只有全部的空間, 200 有幾間, 300的有幾間, 350的有幾間, 都沒有說, 完全不能算

(2) Ten of the offices on the first floor have floor areas of 350 square feet each.
350的有10間, 不能算

1)+2). 即使知道350的有10間, 總共有9,500 square feet, 但是不知道他會怎樣設計房間200 and 300的, 到底是200的多一點還是300的多一點, 都會嚴重影響總共有幾間辦公室的數量, 因此還是不充分.
不過這題似乎一點計算都沒有, 反倒讓我感到那悶? 有時候因為過度懷疑GMAC會欺騙我的感情, 所以常常明明已經算對但是因為太過簡單而感到高度的懷疑, 我不信任GMAC這樣老實. 在懷疑GMAC而不是懷疑題目的狀況下做答, 時間往往每一題都浪費幾秒. 累積下來很可觀. 氣!!!

這一題我作對, 但是我想要近一步確認算法.

問x+y+Z=?

(1)200x+300y+350z=9500----insufficient
(2)200x+300y+350*10=?feet---insufficient

(1)(2)200x+300y=9500-3500=6000
用數字代入
x=6 y=16
x=9 y=12
