A school administration will assign each student in a group of n students to one of m classrooms. If 3<m<13<n, is it possible to assign each of the n students to one of the , classrooms so that each classroom has the same number of students to it?

(1) It is possible to assign each of 3n students to one of m classrooms so that each classroom has the same number of students assigned to it.
(2) It is possible to assign to each of 13n students to one of m classrooms so that each classroom has the same number of students assigned to it.

Ans: (B)

這個題目的邏輯有點煩, 加了一個possible讓腦筋有點打結, 建議把它想成
"if you can say that"+ 問題, 這樣你的答案就在can or can't中選擇, 而不會陷在is possible or is not possible 的模糊地帶

題意簡化就是
在3<m<13<n的條件下, "if you can say that" n/m是有可能整除

為了好解釋, 先看(2)
(2)13n/m有可能整除, m=(4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12)
因為m不包含13的因數, 所以
當13n/m可能整除=n/m可能整除.
->you can say that It is possible to assign each of the students to one of m classrooms so that each classroom has the same number of students assigned to it.

(1) 3n/m有可能整除, m=(4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12)
反之3n可能因與m約分而整除, 所以3n/m可能整除時, ≠ n/m可能整除
->you can't say that It is possible to assign each of the students to one of m classrooms so that each classroom has the same number of students assigned to it. (because the information is insufficient)
