1.","後句末修前面一整句,可表狀態表功能,邏輯主語等同於句子主語
2.表因果關係
不然就是分詞替連接詞
這邊的B應該不是以上3種

可以，非限制形容詞子句省略簡化後就變成分詞構句了

我發現at用分詞修飾前面名詞的結構大概有分兩種

不一定是前面整句，也可能是修飾前面的動詞表伴隨、因果

2.表因果關係
不然就是分詞替連接詞

我想妳誤會了og的解釋，og並不是說giving.....表示這是個己知事實，而是後面 had been earning搞的鬼，過去完成式表比過去更早發生的事實，這也是為什麼og說的作者錯誤把 elephant was earning當成己知的事實，是時態的錯誤而不是present participle的問題

關於was earning我再補充一下是 ：was earning是要表示延伸性的動作與annually呼應，表示每年elephant都“一直”賺那麼多錢

關於C：OG的解釋是說 ", and" 把要說明的example內容切斷了， "there was an elephant giving rides to children at the Whipsnade Zoo" 這件事變成 humorous example，而把本來應該是最重要要表達的comparative earnings抽離開that子句，變成較不重要的細節。
