最後的那個which應該屬於ambiguous的錯誤.也就是說which到底指的是前面的 autobiographies還是 plays, novels, poems, and travel books?? 通常遇到文章中有很多個同位名詞,要用which要非常的小心,因為很容易讓人搞不清楚到底是指什麼.

所以(A)(D)大概可以去掉,(C)的still非常的怪異,(B)which的位子更怪異,

那請問一下Although 引導是子句,那主句是從哪裡開始呢?但有個疑問您說A的which 會模糊,但ETS的WHICH不就是指代前面那個名詞嗎?

(A) 的 which 最可能指代 autobiographies, 這使得 (A) 的句意脫離了原本要表達的意思.
另外 (A) 不簡潔: HCA wrote..., while he wrote... 重複舊資訊
