第一種是莫清崴也這樣講，就是most scientists agree是插入句

也就是等於
a phenomenon that is caused by human beings' burning of fossil fuels, most
scientists agree,
不過我一直很懷疑，如果插入句可以不打逗點，那幾乎每一句流水句都不會算錯了

請問插入句真的可以不打逗點嗎？
第二種是在GMAT forum上一個美國人的解釋
他認為這邊的phenomenon是當scientists agree的受詞
也就是等同
most scientist agree global warming (a phenomenon) is caused by human being's
burning of fossil fuels

不過我總覺得這個句子很奇怪，真的可以這樣主動詞亂換嗎？

我自己原本是將它理解做
a phenomenon that most scientists agree (that) is caused by human....

但是好像不可能這樣省掉that

請問各位牛人這句的文法結構真的是照老莫講的那樣插入句省掉comma嗎？

most scientist agree 這一句應是是插入句

a phenomenon後通常會加that,然後接子句作"限定"修飾

a phenomenon是作同位語,不應該是a phenomenon +V~ 這樣就馬上變子句了,B選項犯了大忌,這是很嚴重的錯誤

至於有爭議的 most scientist agree加不加逗號,已經是個小毛病而已,相對其他的錯誤比較其來

我的見解是,SC有大錯誤的先刪,有時後只能選個較少錯誤的

這一題顯然經過特別設計.
(A) to be (C) which (D) which (不簡潔) 可以很快排除.
剩下 (B) (C), 關鍵在看出 that is 不一樣: 一個放一起,一個分開放; 不管怎麼放,它都不簡潔 (i.e. 沒必要).
有什麼不一樣? 為了考that 的位置--考關係代名詞的修飾位置.
明明不簡潔還弄出來? 就是故意弄成這樣才能考嘛!

另外還是要考句意.
(B) global warming is caused by "fossil fuels"
(c) global warming is caused by "burning of fossil fuels"
哪個好? (C) 囉!

顏：插入句（parenthetical statement）當然得用逗點隔開。這種句型很常見，
a phenomenon that most scientists agree is caused by human beings' burning of fossil fuels 若要改成插入句，得如下寫：...a phenomenon, most scientists agree, (is 在此從屬子句中需去除）caused by human beings' burning of fossil fuels...
