補充一下，
1.在OG的解釋中，in place of是滿常用的。但它的意思比較像是指某個地方，而不是replace的意思。
2. for use to replace可能會讓人誤解to replace是用來修飾use的，而且，比較常看到的是the use of。
3. to use them 和to replace的動作者，都是governemnt，不會混淆。

偶覺得2
(1) to use 好像變成 high school to use 應該是 students to use 但題目又沒有students所以改用名詞
(2) them感覺多餘
(3)to use them修飾high school (unidiomatic)

還有 distribute 應該接 to (用into有點奇怪)

如果use當成名詞，它的用法通常是：the use of...或...have no use for
好像沒看到有use當名詞用，後面接不定式的咧…
請再討論一下。

而且 for 表目的：
(1) N + for + Ving (N 要能作這項動作)
(2) for N + to V
ex: We went out for a walk after dinner.
= We went out to take a walk after dinner.

心裡有個謎之音:
會不會消失的第五個才是答案!!

我覺得 1 2 除非 for use 有什麼其他的解釋
不然 for ... to V... 都是表目的和用途 -> redundancy

剩下兩個答案
我覺得them的指涉或許如同之前討論一樣可以指涉schools 或是 eletronic books and computers
但是
假設 schools 是 use 這個動作的主詞
use 之後的受詞如果是 schools
不會是 them 而應該會出現 反身代名詞 themselves
假設認定 to use 是用來修飾 distribute 這個動詞 (即表目的)
那 them 指涉也不會混淆 跟distribute是同一個受詞 :)
因此我會選3
(use something to V, 所以不選4)
