我選了A，我的感覺是現在女人地位和上個世紀女人的地位來比，也就是說from how it was是要保留的，且照原意 is little changed，little為adv用法，是"毫無”的意思。

相對的C，not only 省略了from how it was，變成the status of women in Pakistan has changed little in the last century，這樣是不是文法基本錯誤啊，因為時間是在上個世紀，怎麼會變成 perfect tense，且 changed little 改變原意，little為adj用法，意思為”少許”。我的想法那裡錯了啊，怎麼會是C??

我來試看看解釋一部分
首先，我看到的句子都是change little(adv)，還沒看過 is little changed
V + adv應該是比較正常的
因此 (A)(C)(D)就刪啦

而Dr.eye的例句如下：
Women's social status hasn't changed much over the years.
感覺status"慣用"主動
至於為什麼是perfect tense，in the last century的last是指"最近"的意思，不是"上個"
表達"上個"的意思，應該用過去式，例句如下(from Longman)
Did you see the game on TV last night?
The law was passed last August.
表達"最近"的意思，應該用present perfect tense，例句如下(from Longman)
Interest in golf has grown rapidly in the last ten years.
所以in the last xxxx，都是用現在完成式

至於(D)has changed(完成式) little from how it has been(又來個完成式)
這個看起來就怪怪的，我也說不上來
而且Recent這個字會讓我想選完成式

thx. 我誤解"in the last century"為在上個世紀，所以才有比較的想法跑出來，
至於 changed little / little changed ，我查Dr.eye是這樣的
adj:We got little help from them.(少許)
adv:We little believed that he would harm us.(毫無)
我後來想想題意應該是要說改變了少許，而不是完全沒改變，因為前面提到了"僅管最近的.."
