如果findings 指的是那些金屬沉積物

金屬沉積物怎麼能跟工業的成長 consistent with *-)

應該翻譯成 "這些發現"....吧 !

這就是要強調並傳遞一種一致性的(或是說等比例發展的關係)
記得OG89的例子吧

為什麼選項(E)sediments from the Baltic Sea, consistent with the growth of industrial activity there
歐機解釋為說there is no logical place to which there could refer, sediments from the Baltic Sea不是有說明地點了嗎 there當然是指的是Baltic Sea. 不是嗎?
我可以理解對A,c, 的解釋但無法接受E的解釋有人可以告訴我嗎

地點應是the gorwth of industrial activity happen 的地方
所以當然不能是SEA
這個地方there還是沒有明確的地點不如in the area好

同位語的目的應該在於補述(用來解釋前面那句的observation)
所以應該沒有while的意味在裡面
我覺得是沒有什麼所謂還原的問題喲,硬要分得很清楚的話
就把他看作是兩個句子吧
