不知道這個問題會不會有點愚蠢…..
因為我見 more 在句首, 所以會容易認為比較對象是
ancient Egyptian
而非 in the reign of Ramses II.
我的想法是, 選擇choice D , 那句子就是解釋成,
◎ 在Ramses II王朝統治下, 埃及的寺廟多於其他的(寺廟) 被修建………
看到過去很多NN 的解釋是以in the reign of Ramses II 為比較對象……..
想請問, 若是以in the reign of Ramses II 為比較對象…..
那句子改成~~~~

這樣改會造成疑義哦，
例如說，more也可做adv，
又靠近construct，如果more解讀成修飾動詞，
句意完全改變囉，
所以原句的寫法是比較沒有疑問的。

我突然發現我應該是對比較類型題目哪些該補出動詞還不熟.......
像是若選 D. than others 後面應該加 were ? 還是加 did ?
(搞不清楚ing..... )

若有疑問還請多多指點迷津...........

以這個題目而言，
如果要探究(D)後面應該接什麼樣的動詞只要循其本推回去就好，
如果選(D)的話，很明顯的比較基準就是temples，
原句就應該是
More ancient Egyptian temples were constructed in the reign of Ramses II than other kinds of temples were constructed in the reign of Ramses II.(為了讓句子有意義，我小改答案)

還原以後就很明顯的知道應該只留were，其他省略。
但是在本題中，D既不合句意，用法也錯，是不用考慮的ANS

多練習就會熟知其用法了。
