how can docks be the lowest record ?

it should be numberical figure to be the lowest record. Docks cannot be the lowest figure.

it is so called " be-V parallelism" .

是因為reduce跟drop兩者的用法不同嗎?

the lowest figure on record 是指最低數值.......
figure 這裡應與 number 對稱
i:the number of ducks........., the lowest figure........ (O)
ii:the ducks..........., the lowest figure........(X)

A and C 在這部分都犯同樣錯誤.

2)
在這裡 reduce 應當用來修飾 number 而非 duck.
i:the number ...........will be reduced, ..... (O)
ii:the ducks..............will be reduced, ......(X)
