我的思路是這樣
看完題目句
大概知道是要比較煮菜時spices的用量跟醫學上的用量
C的問題
第一個 cooking 跟 taking 比較感覺很奇怪
第二個最明顯的錯誤是 in large quantities 修飾的問題
這樣子用感覺很像是done這個動作是很大量
D的話
非常對稱 比較清楚 勝出 :)

AB主詞 都是一樣 無從比較 況且有指代跟修飾夾心問題
C前面比較 cooking 跟 taking+N 無從比較
如果真的要比,應該是 cooking sth 跟 taking sth
去ABC
