撇開中間插入語，having the power to give and to take away the breath of life 修飾主要子句的主詞supreme being應該沒有歧異吧。
這句原來的樣子 (While) (because) the supreme had the power to give and to take away the breath of life. 連接詞主詞去掉had改成ving，我覺得蠻合理的阿。

來看A，in which the sky was the floor, and who had the power to give and to take
who 都是修是同樣修飾一個人，用一個就很經濟啦，who dwelt xxx and had xxx
我認為who可省而沒省，不知道大家有什麼看法。

A.,and who 比較清楚再說天神宙斯.
另外A要這樣寫也是因為中間插了who dwelt in an upper realm in which the sky was the floor 句子太長,and who之前加個逗號只是做個說話段句的意義而已.
不然會誤解為who dwelt in an upper realm in which the sky was the floor and who.....句子變的不清楚
要是把who拿掉又會誤解the sky was the floor and ....
在說明who dwelt...

(d) with 副詞片語 修飾前面的動詞 作伴隨 或是修飾最靠近的名詞
如果修飾 前面動詞 這裡前面動詞是was
however, Be動詞的句型意義 是表definition ( A is B ) 並無動作可以讓with 修飾
名詞修飾floor 但 with 內容不合理
所以with 不能使用

解釋非限定用法符合 OG 標準解答的精神(i.e. having 的主詞是 being),但是 (B) 這樣就改變句意了,因為原句 (A) 兩個 who 都指 Esaugetu Emissee (主要子句的主詞補語).
