這類題目我會先看A,C如果A,C裡沒有正確答案才會考慮其他選項。

介係詞後面加接的動名詞,中間應該是所有格代名詞才對非受詞代名詞

為啥他在介紹介係詞with的部分時，寫到

當分詞片語表伴隨發生的情況下

通常由with引導其主詞

with + 非所有格 + 分詞 <-> 所有格 + Ving

選項C要改成with "its" skimming...
如果你不改,試著把主詞帶回去就知道了.

把IT換成飛機之後,不就可以看出句意不通之處了?

另外我補充一下(E),經過agk99大哥在第一頁的提點,(E)選項改變了句子的重心,的原因應該是指"以句意為依歸的情形之下,由原(A)選項所倒引的原句意:by skimming along th etop of the atmosphere,是插入句,而(E)卻正好將該部分視為補充說明的句意變成了主要重點,所以"錯囉"!!!

令外我覺得在(E)當中有REDUNDANCY的問題就是MAKE IT POSSIBLE 與 AIRCRAFT COULD FLY !!!!!!

請問這題的B選項, 前面有提過A of B與可以用it代替B,那 第二個選項的it也可以代替aircraft ,那B為什麼不對呢

抱歉,我想請問一下 a of b 如果後面有帶名詞it 可以只b嗎 ex:the republic of china.............it........it可以只china 嗎 不是republic 才是主詞 只能只待republic?

這題我在解題時,習慣抓S ,V詞, 我當時在選時心裡暗想是這個新模型……但這題在拜讀各位大大的討論稿後發現大家認為主詞是指aircraft???雖然這樣才符合句意…,但還是不解主詞為何不是style…(老實說style …could fly…也滿怪的!!!)

(A) 覺得 fly 的主詞應該是 style 沒錯吧! style 再被後面所有格修飾,所以讀者知道是指飛機. 新的機型,就是飛機的樣子;那個樣子擦過大氣表面乘風而飛.
(B) 有個問題,就是 proponents 不會藉 skimming along the top of the atmosphere 而飛吧! (By... 修飾後面那句話,而那句話的主詞,不正是 proponents 嗎? proponents 是不會飛的.)
(C) 如果 it 指主詞,那主詞不就又當受詞了嗎? it 還可以指 earth 也!那句意就扯更遠了.
(D) 也是說 proponents 會飛
(E) it (=atmosphere?) 指代不明確

我是選e耶~~我覺得e雖然沒有a簡潔
但是他沒有could前面插入的問題
而且他it也沒有指代錯誤吧
make it possible的it是沒有意義的吧
我記得莫老師有講過
所以為什麼要選A阿~~~~~~我ㄧ看到住動詞前插入別的東西就覺得她很奇怪
就不選了

那題答案D的分裂結構與目前討論的這一題類似.
