造成語句怪異

小弟個人認為是C
因為B後面的it主辭重複

is...超過兩千歲是前半用and連接
當作沒看到
GMAT 花了我半年才搞定

前半不用看
GMAT took me half an year to conquer
沒有it
有it會造成主辭重複

小弟個人的粗淺見解是第二個選項那個a work不是跟translation of Iliad 同位嗎所以應該是受詞吧就變成 the girl whom i speak 吧 prounce 單賓也可是雙賓(有一個受詞或兩個都行) 可是 that literary critic Samuel Johnson, Pope’s contemporary跟 a work 平行吧那不也是 the girl whom i speak 嗎而且 as 不是在這裡有類似表身分的用法嗎那應該是 a 不是the吧所以第三個選項應該不選吧不過我還是會去確認低

我覺得it應該是指 the army

剛剛也查了一下 complete 是及物動詞

所以省略 it 似乎怪怪的

如果將題目分解:

the army......afterlife took 7000 artisans more than 36 years to complete

C 比較合理
