[問題]請問分辭構句.....

請教一下...關於分辭構句的用法...
我的理解是若是~ed...就表示是被動態...主辭選擇以事物為主
若是~ing....就是主動態...主辭選擇以人為主
但是我看到好些題似乎不是這樣選擇...請各位幫我解惑一下
例如
OG235
主辭是career,但分辭構句的使用是spanning,雖然我知道這題需要選配合spanning,began及culminated選主辭...但還是很疑惑

另外...關於

(A)For almost a hundred years after having its beginning in 1788,

為什麼不能選B呢...England是主動態...不是嗎???

要不然語意好像變成
英格蘭開始於1788....

另外 當然分詞構具在SC中是一個很重要的考點 ,不過 , 我自己的經驗,ETS的考試在分詞構句的考試重心多於dangling ~

印象中真的只能從主被動考點來判斷的似乎只有 #210
