despite是介係詞...後面接名詞或Ving...通常being都是省略的所以不選....

還有....老莫有說過the fact that是廢話...如果沒有其他更好的答案..才選...

我可能要變更一下我的說法...不是完全不選...而是如果有更好的答案就別選the fact that....

A question for you guys...If the answer is "C", what is "they" referring to ? They 是複數, 所以在句子中唯一複數的是 consumers. That's to say, they = consumers ??? If they is consumers, how come "consumers" is equal to "free of damage claims and moving violations" ?? @@

至於despite，一定是在名詞，加動名詞的不應優先考慮，不得己再說
至於they指代不清的問題，應該還好吧，就是指customers
