原題的主要論點是說:
由於B國的電視組裝人員說變少了, 所以B國會有更多的電視由V國進口,

也就是說, B國將會生產出更少的電視,
但是, 如果C不成立的話, 即- B國生產電視所需時間變少,
那麼, B國並不會因為組裝人員變少 就使總生產量變少,
也就不需要由V國來進口了!

換句話說, C是不可缺少的假設！
