建議幾種練習方式
ㄧ次練習一種
做完五到十句後再換下一種練習
初學前兩週先不要一次同時練習兩種以上的組合
ㄧ次只做一種熟練後才會有效

1.詞組閱讀練習
英文跟中文一樣
表達意義的單位是詞組,而不是單字
練習把每個單位意義詞組畫上底線
例如: a piece of cake
Just a week after Dell announced the largest PC recall /in history, Apple followed up /on Aug. 24 with the second-largest, affecting older notebooks.
每天一樣練習十句話或半頁左右
久而久之閱讀時就會有每次目光注意力放在四到五字寬的詞組


2.主軸結構與詞性辨識練習
把主詞跟動詞圈出來
只留主軸
次要結構的三大程咬金都用括號關起來
(which, that等從屬子句),(分辭句構),(同位語)
這樣就會看出主軸
次要結構都在括號裡
ex:
(Just a week after Dell announced the largest PC recall in history), Apple followed up (on Aug. 24) with the second-largest, (affecting older notebooks).

找本商用原文雜誌每天練習十句話或半頁左右



3.主軸結構圖示練習
將第一種練習的主軸句的主詞動詞跟補語畫成主軸
次要結構用插圖方式畫出
ex:

蘋果例句的主軸是

Apple followed up the second-largest (recall)

其他幾項詞組都只是次要結構插花
(a) Just a week after Dell announced the largest PC recall
(b) in history
(c) on Aug. 24
(d) affecting older notebooks.


所以把主軸畫出來

Apple followed up the second-largest

然後把花插上去
像這樣

........Apple followed up the second-largest
^...^.........................^...........................^
(a)(b)........................(c)........................(d)


4. 中英詞序配對練習

Just a week after Dell announced the largest PC recall / in history
.........(a).....(b)...(c).......(d).......................(e).............(f)


Apple followed up / on Aug. 24 / the second-largest, affecting older notebooks
..(g)..........(h)...............(i)..................(j)......................(k)............(l)


中文翻譯:
就在/戴爾電腦/發布/史上最大的電腦回收/之後/一週,

然後進行中英詞序配對
