而B國需求量不增加的情況下,而組裝工人減少,故需要增加V國進口量
所以可以推出C
可是,第一句話The average hourly wage of television assemblers in Vernland has long been significantly lower than that in neighboring Borodia
在這裡面到底有什麼作用啊??總覺得ETS不會在題目裡放個完全無關的敘述吧??!!

Borodia tariffs 下降=>但, Borodia annually TV sold並沒有改變
WHY?

Fact 2: recent statistics show (Borodia's televesion assemblers # 減少)

Conclusion:
sold量沒減少=>Assmeblers減少=>推得結果 (一定是import from Vernalad的television 上升)

問此Conlusion Assume 什麼
Fact 1支持 (因為V's wage cost lower)=>缺少此 conclusion無法成立
2. Assume Assemebler 少=生產量減少=Assembelers productivity 沒有improved 如果生產效率提昇的話 一台就可以生產好幾個television

Borodian's TV assembler生產一台TV所須的時間並沒有下降..所以Lower assemblers=lower total TV produced

對於題目沒有任何影響(與過去三年V國組裝數量大增無關)

It will only make sense if the answer is C when you change the sentance to "The average number of hours it takes a B television assembler to assemble a tv has not "increased" significantly during the past 3 years."
Because if the assembly time incressed significantly, this will explain why there is a drop in the number of the tv assembled.

otherwise D will be a "better "choice, although not 100% correct. Because it provides a "possible" reason for the declining number of tv assembled by B country.

我覺得(C)對,第一句話也派上用場
因為average hourly wage x working hours= cost of a television
B的high average hourly wage會造成higher cost of a television
V的low average hourly wage會造成lower cost of a television
==>在兩國working hours相等的前提下,且B去除國電視的關稅後
所以V的電視相較於B的電視具有成本優勢
所以(C)The average number of hours it takes a Borodian television assembler to assemble a television has not decreased significantly during the past three years
代表的是B國電視製造成本不會因為working hours減少而降低,
確保B會由V進口電視這個結論

個人覺得C對，用反向推論。

由C來看，若生產一台TV的時間減少，則產量可上升->補Assembler下降之缺口。且同時B國需求未增加，所以不需從V國進口->原題結論不成立。

至於D，如前人所述，V國增加之產量與B國是否進口無直接關係。

我ㄧ開始太笨
以為是關稅 害我想了半天都不知道那一句話到底跟後面的結論有什麼關係
還想說本題漏洞也太多了吧 應該考weaken才對

我認為tariff應該是指關稅喔

雖然三年前B國取消了對V國所生產的電視所徵收的關稅,
每年在B國境內所賣出的電視數量並沒有改變

當B國工人的組裝時間不變,即效率不變(選項C)

-->B國工人減少意味著B國的產量也減少

-->但是每年在B國境內的電視銷售量並沒有改變

-->所以B國每年從V國進口的電視數量必然增加

PS.其實還必須有一個前提,就是在B國所賣的電視只能由B國或V國供應
