Purdue的拒絕信

等了老半天，終於換來殘酷的事實，
不過愚蠢的我，還是對這封信有點疑惑，
呵~可以說是垂死的掙扎吧
不知道有沒有人收到的拒絕信跟我一樣呢?
先說，我知道這種事情還是直接問學校比較清楚，我也寫了信說明我的工作並積極爭取，但是在等待的同時，還是想上來問問大家(好啦~我承認我很無聊啦)信件內容如下:
Dear XXX,

The Krannert School of Management Professional MAster's Program Admsiion Committee has carefully reviewed your application. We find your academic credentials to be impressive; however, we are concerned about your lack of sufficient professional work experience. We would like to offer you admission to the Krannert MBA program after you have obtained at least one year, preferably two to three years, of full-time, post-baccalaureate, professional work experience.

We believe that(這段省略，大意是說工作經驗對MBA來說多麼的重要)

Please advise the Professional MAster's Program Admsiion Committee by email or in writing by May 1, 2006 if you are interested in future admission. Although you will need to complete the new application (due to change each year), we would like to stay in touch with you and help guide you through the process.

On behalf of Krannert, we commend you for your record of achievement to date and are confident that, with sufficient work experience prior to entry, the Krannert program will provide even greater value to your professional career. Congratulations on your expected future admission to Krannert and bestwishes for continued success.

終於打完了~附帶一提，我是2004畢業的~工作經驗勉強可算兩年，雖然很短，不過以信中來看，應該是有達到他們的標準吧???

總之，現在ㄧ片混亂，哀~為什麼要有最後ㄧ句呢?本來已經做好準備了，請問有人的REJECTION也是長這樣嗎?
第一次收到比WL還煎熬的信，持續自我欺騙中~

我今天也收到拒絕信了
可是內容跟你的完全不一樣...
我收到的就是很制式的那種
還叫我不要要求學校的feedback
最後祝我future success...
你的可能有點特別
不知道其他人收到的呢?

可是收到WL
我猜他會不會對於你目前的工作內容有期望
又或者他希望你的工作經驗再拉長呢?
不過看內容，他真的希望你未來能夠進PURDUE喔!!

顯然學校認為你的工作經驗不足。

他期望發給你AD，但是是在你至少有一年工作經驗，最好是二到三年之後....這就不用我翻譯了....

由這裡看來，他並不認為你在畢業後有工作經驗喔 ;-S

這裡開始就是廣告了，只是要告訴你，希望你在補足工作經驗後可以再次申請。

我判斷，應該是你的學術背景相當吸引他們，但是工作經驗嚴重不足，所以才會收到這樣的信。

所以，我想這跟一般R本質上沒有不同(對不起，我說的有點直接)，所以，既然已經有其他的選擇，

就安心的努力的朝著自己的選擇努力吧 ;yes;

Dear moto,可以分享一下妳的工作背景嗎?
如果版上不方便的話，可以回到我的信箱嗎?
因為我真的很好奇為什麼平平兩年我收到的信卻這麼奇怪
我想知道是否我對工作的描述有問題?
還是因為"I got special internal training for potential manager" 讓她想看看以後的我可以到什麼境界?(不過學校應該不會因為單純的好奇心做這樣的決定吧??)所以想了解ㄧ下也許是我的工作描述沒有表達出學校想要知道的深度，也或許是我真的工作過於平凡吧!

經過幾星星期的糾纏，終於得到回音了，
I am see how we mistakenly evaluated your post-bacalaureate experience. Given the fact that you do have two years of full-time post-bac experience, I am willing to reconsider your future admit status and change it to offer you admission to the fall 2006 cohort. You will receive official notice via email first then via standard postal mail. Please use the information, details, and links provided in the coming email to get started on the visa/immigration process.

事情告一段落覺得很開心，不過之前做好再留ㄧ年的心理準備又被弄亂~
在此，非常謝謝因為這間學校被我騷擾以及耐心回答我問的的大大們。

樓主應該寫的很明白了

學校給的拒絕信內認為他沒有工作經驗

但是實際上他有兩年的工作經驗

從拒絕信上學校給的feedback好好加強吧

事實就如同MBAdream說的一樣
學校以沒有工作經驗為由希望樓主至少有一年以上工作經驗再入學
但事實上樓主有兩年的經驗
幾番魚雁往返後終於釐清事實
