From the point of view of developing countries, wages and working conditions in factories supplying or owned by American multinationals are no worse than those in local enterprises, and sometimes better. By US standards, however, those wages and conditions are often abysmal. How would you address this apparent conflict?

個人覺得可以提到國家間發展程度、資源秉賦及比較利益來說明為什麼美國工資比在開發中國家工廠之工資好。其二，可用buyer對supplier之品質及工資福利要求(舉例血汗工廠)、以即已開發國家多為民主國家， 因而較重視人權、福利、媒體自由，說明為何外商擁有之當地工廠或其供應商工資條件會比較好。
