Hi there,
I am Frank. 我是今年要去Kelley School of Business in Indiana University讀MBA的同學
想要邀請預計今年要去IU的同學,希望大家能夠在行前來認識一下,未來也可以有所照應!
我的MSN & email: ychuang9@hotmail.com
bejer \$m[1]:IU is a school focusing on team work and "capability-shaping". Based on our experience, IU's workload is among Top 5 in the nation and its core courses are very intensive and high pressured (especially if you don't have any quant background). Within Big 10, IU is also famous for its achievement on case competition. Unfortunately, due to its location, not many consulting firms pick IU as top consideration. I still remember that IU has a very unique program called LDI (Leadership development Institute), which provides best experience of how to be a great leader rather than being a normal manager. Trust me, it is something you won't get anywhere. Even now, as working in Top Company in the world, I still don't find such a beneficial program from regular trainings.
About student profile, most people choose IU because of its marketing and finance programs (especially those Americans). Consumer marketing is one of Kelley's tradition. Although its marketing ranking is not among Top10, many consumer companies, such as P&G or Lily, still hire many IU MBA every year. The bad news for you is: sometimes, they don't support H1B visa and you must compete with Chinese or Indians for limited opportunities.
Just can't describe everything at this moment after all day's working. Should you have any question, just send me messages.
Jason Lee \$m[1]:No H1b sponsorship directly means that P&G and Lily do not even exist for international students. What is the purpose to attend to a school that has many well-known companies recruiting for Americans and not for international students? Your chance to secure as a job in the US is as much as if you were to attend a second or third tier MBA programs. What can IU do for international students? Does it have a list of recruiting companies that could provide H1b VISAs?
