Once GIAC has completed the initial review process, the application will be sent to the McCombs MBA Admissions Committee. This committee consists of current students and the full time MBA Admissions Office staff. Each application is reviewed by three different individuals: 1.) a MBA student MAC member, 2.) a full time Admissions staff member, and 3.) the Director of Admissions. This review process can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.

The website status page is updated as applications move through the process and will notify applicants when a decision is made. Admission decisions will also be sent by first class mail. The first decision letters will go out in December. The application process typically takes 8 - 12 weeks, although for applications received between December and March it may take longer, as this is our busiest time.

Please be patient with us as we complete this process. We know that this waiting period is a stressful and agonizing experience. If the 8 - 12 week review process has elapsed and you have not heard a decision from us, or if you feel something is wrong with your application, please contact us again.
