The statement completely slapped in both Pitt's and Iowa's faces. Also, it seems to suggest that UT-Austin, UIUC, and OSU are relatively easy to get in. It is an interesting comment, but it appears to be slightly off the topic.
Last time I checked, UIUC does not seem to be ranked in a top 20 or 30 category by major magazines (US News, BW, FT, Forbes, or WSJ). I do not know which ranking you were reading. Maybe you could furnish on that a little bit more.
