marketing是Carlson的major strength,因此我有參考了Carlson在marketing單項的ranking (US NEWS),但是我發現除了在2007的ranking是排名19之外,前幾年似乎都沒有在25名內,也落後Kelley,Fisher,Broad...等綜合排名跟Carlson接近的學校
由於我手邊沒有排名的依據,因此不知道US NEWS的分項排名是否客觀,但是想從current students這邊了解一下,是否有感受到這兩年Carlson在marketing方面投入了哪些資源,以致於今年的排名上升? 又,學校是否有提到未來在這方面,有哪些展望(師資?課程安排?...等),讓Carlson在marketing這塊更上一層樓?

Come on man. Don’t get too hung up on the rankings. Companies like diversity. Diversity does not limit only to race or gender. It could include different education backgrounds. You do not see a company only recruit students from Harvard, do you? If you do, I would be worried about the future of that company. Nevertheless, most fortune 500 companies recruit not only M 7 students, but also well respected regional schools such as those you mentioned, Carlson, Kelley, Fisher, or Board. What is the big deal being ranked top 20 or not being ranked previously? I am positive that those schools would all help you to boost your career to the next level.
