For the essay question regarding employment, will the resume be sufficient to answering the question. Could I put see resume? Or, do I have to explain what the jobs entailed?

Thanks for your message. This seems to be a question that keeps popping up! The admissions committee asks applicants to submit both a professional resume, and to complete the Employment History section of the application. The reason why we do this is because we are looking for very specific things in the Employment History section (such as Job title, Number of Employees Supervised, Salary, Reasons for Leaving, etc.). All of these details would most likely not be written on a professional resume. However, we do expect to find some repetition between the resume and Employment History section.
In any case, it would be fine for your to say "see resume" under responsibilities, if you are going to cut and paste the same information into the "responsibilities" section. This would not be detrimental to your application. I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Cindy
