今天參加了Duke (Fuqua) 的面試
面試官 ：Johnson (2005 alumni) (個性很溫，人蠻nice的）
面試地點：101, 在McKinsey office
面試時間：30 min + 5-10 min Q&A

我先到101樓下，時間快到時打電話給他，很意外的，是個台灣人，所以電話中講的是中文，馬上放寬心…呵呵！不過面試全程是英文啦

面試題目：
1. introduce yourself in one min
2. talk about the job you work for now, the detail
3. talk about the best accomplishment you did in the workplace
4. the most frustrated thing you met in the workplace
5. the activity that you are be most proud of
6. career goal
7. why Fuqua
8. why Fuqua can help you achieve your long career goal

大概是這樣，這是我第一次面試，蠻緊張的！說的好不好也不知道！總之，等個二十來天，就會有消息了

不過和大家分享，Johnson說過去台灣到Duke(Fuqua)一年可能只有一個學生
但是去年（有一本書：MBA女孩，的影響，造成在台灣知名度高一點），發了11個offer，然後有10個去念了，總之，去年開始，收台灣的學生有增加

今天發生很哀傷的事,他說要面試的太多不給我interview了,全文如下
Dear,

Thank you for your interest in the Fuqua School of Business. I am writing to inform you that due to a limited number of alumni interviewers in Taiwan, we are not able to accommodate your request for an alumni interview.

Please do not worry or panic. Duke does not require an interview for admission. In addition, the Admissions Committee is aware of this situation and it will not affect your application negatively.

Our inability to accommodate your interview request does not reflect your application status. Your application is still being read and considered for admission.

I got the same thing as well two or three weeks ago, I kept calling Miss Katie but she is either on leave or during a interview session. I talked to the lady who picked the phone and sincerely expressed that I don't want the waiver of interview to have negative impact on my candidacy and if possible, I can fly to HKG for interview. She said she will leave my message and email to Katie but I got nothing today. Don't know what to do now.

Shall I call her again tonight?

我得面試官告訴我，台灣好像只有兩個校友幫忙作interview，所以每個人可能要負責多一點
但是從咖啡店的狀況看來，應該有很多大牛在潛水吧！！！

不過話說回來，如果只有兩個校友在台灣面試，我想他們應該都很忙（至少面試我的在麥肯錫，應該是真的沒時間面試很多人），所以我覺得學校說的是事實，或許真的不會有 negatively affect to application

Just called again but the responsible person is out of town today. I left the message and wrote her a mail regarding my interview status. Hope she can get back to me by tomorrow.

對了，請問有申請Duke的朋友們一個關於application status的問題。
你們的status在遞出申請之後，有改變過嗎？或是學校有沒有通知你們要補材料之類的呢？因為我這邊毫無訊息，心裡有一點小小的不安。我的status也只顯示了complete time而已，請問是不是有人跟我一樣呢？
