Kellog School of Management successfully defended its first place in BusinessWeek’s biennal Executive MBA Ranking followed by University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Third comes Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
The highest ranked European school is Instituto de Empresa in Madrid on rank 6, an improvement of nine spots. Iese Business School in Barcelona is ranked 13th. Last year the school came 17th, where ESADE Business School in Barcelona is ranked this year (previous year: 21).
Thus, the two Spanish school have overtaken IMD in Lausanne (ranked 16th) as well as Insead in Fontainbleau and Singapore (ranked 19th) and London Business School (ranked 24th).
The ranking was based on interviews with graduates and program directors. While graduates were asked to evaluate a number of criteria regarding the academic standards, the career center and the curriculum, program directors were asked to name their Top-10 programs. The graduates winner is Instituto de Empresa, the program directors number 1 ranked school is Booth School of Business.
Fuqua School of Business of the Duke University has most female students with a share of 33 %. The most expensive program in the Top 25 is offered by Wharton School with US$ 156.600, the cheapest is Fisher College of Business' Executive MBA at Ohio State University with US$ 73.500. The school is ranked 15.
