Q1. resources about consulting
Ans: In general, there are courses with an international focus, e.g. International Business, Global Market Strategy, etc. Being in Northern California, there are many students & alumni from China.
Haas has an international business seminar course that is basically a 2 week trip. They go to China almost every year, and in the trip you get to meet with lots of companies and establish contacts.
Q2. Haas is very "technology focus"?
Ans: Haas is known for being strong in entrepreneurship and sending people after graduation to work in the tech industry.
Q3. guess some specialties are The International Business Development, Haas@Work and Berkeley MBA Leadership Development Series. Anything else?
Ans: Entrepreneurship business plan competitions
Student self organized trips
Q4. Haas probably prefers to people who are...?
Ans: I believe Haas prides itself to having smart students that don't have a huge ego, yes. Haas is in NorCal, where people are more informal, relaxed, and into cultural/sports activities. This doesn't mean they don't work hard, but just more laid-back. They still value students that intend to change the world for the better when they graduate.
Q5. What does Haas attract to you the most?
My interests are in the tech industry and in entrepreneurship / product design. Haas was full of alumni, students, and courses dedicated to these areas.
