In your opinion, how accurate is the view expressed above? Explain, using reasons and examples based on your own experience, observations, or readings.
Views differ greatly when it comes to the issue of whether education is the main provider of individual opportunity in our society. However, my experience and observations of education convince me that education has now become the element which ensures one’s success in life.
First of all, education could provide us the knowledge which we need in the real life. Especially for those who work in professional jobs. The more professional the job you have, the higher the knowledge you should receive and apply for. Even if your job is not directly related to your major in the university, education still could provide you with some basic and knowledgeable skill.
In addition, education could make us know more and more people.. We can learn the knowledge and adequate skills to make our living, we also meet some good friends during our school life. It is almost impossible for everyone to succeed alone, though, if you have good communications and relationships with others, you do get the opportunity to succeed.
Someone may say that education is not necessary for some talented-people such as Bill Gates, who built Microsoft, the greatest software company in the world. But in fact, there are few people to attain that level like Bill Gates. After all, we should never ignore the power of education.
In summary, education has become the most important and persuasive force everywhere in the world. It provides the key factor to our success. In our society, needless to say, education has become the element that most ensures success in life.”
