Attacked heavily by Ad, Candidate Senator Kyle before the election resulted in 10,000 voters changing their voting plan. However, since the majority of the voters not voting is made up from an even balance of those for and against her. Candidate Senator election results was not affect by the change in voting plans. (MBT to Weaken)
1) Those that supported Senator Kyle still voted after the Ad
2) Those that are against Senator Kyle that decided not to voted change their minds after the Ad.
As factory in the past involves repetitive work and heavy lifting, supervisors maintain watch over the workers and solve any problems that may arise. Now, machination in assembly lines does most of the manufacturing and moving. Hence assembly line workers are hired for their problem solving skills. So a when a supervisor leaves, the position is best filled by promoting an assembly worker. (What is the assumption the argument is based on)
1) A lot of the assembly workers in the past has problem solving skills unused.
2) That the supervisor position needs to be filled.
Nandipa wants to be healthy, thus by maintaining a “plant-based” diet, she has kept her LDL, which is the bad fat below the level for a healthy heart condition. However, she is worried that her HDL is at insufficient level for a healthy heart. Hence she is considering eating Chicken and Fish to increase her HDL levels. (Most impt to Eva)
1) Nandipa did not want to ingest too much animal cholesterol when she starts the new eating plan
2) HDL is only important in regulating (affecting?) LDL levels.
Insecticides does not need to be applied to genetic modified cotton/corn which secrete its own. However the insecticides generated by the crops itself is half as effective as the commercial variety. So, farmers who planted the new variety still have to apply pesticides to the field, which is approximately about half of the pesticides required per acre to control insect pests for non-modified cotton/corn. Therefore, farmers who replaced their whole crops with the new variety will not save on their pesticide usage by more then half. (MBT to Support this)
1) The insecticides produced by the new variety crops are half as weak as the commercial variety
2) Farmers who replaced their crops with the new variety do so completely.
3) Of those that used half of the amount of insecticides then previously, most planted the new variety crops
4) Whether the farmer who have tried the modified seed planted as many acres of cotton/corn, on average, as farmers using the ordinary seed did.
All the vehicles in XXXX had a miles-per-gallon (mpg) rating. The regulating department of the government in XXXX will penalize manufacturer if all of its vehicles sold in XXXX are lower than 20mpg. This is most detrimental to Star Corp* as it sells about 4% of its vehicles in XXXX but pays 75% of the penalty incurred in that country. (What can be inferred from this)
1) There is at least one company in XXXX that sells vehicles less fuel economic as Star Corp
2) That none (A) of the vehicles sold by Star Corp are no higher then 20 mpg in ratings.
3) Other companies which sells their vehicles in XXXX are all higher then 4%.
Items sold from vending machines that are either damaged or below quality are sent back by the complaining purchaser. This is an important feedback for the company in order to regulate its quality control. However, purchasers cannot be bothered asking for refunds on such items as the costs for such items are deemed to be too low. (What can be assumed from this)
1) People that purchase from vending machines provides feedback for the manufacturing company
2) Companies cannot depend on refund requests for feedback on the quality of its products
Government regulation maintains that TV stations must include 10 (errrr…) hrs of educational programs during the weekdays. It also limits advertising to 12 minutes per hour on such educational programs. A common belief is that children viewing the advertisement will pressure their parents in purchasing such products. When suggested to reduced down to 10minutes, surprisingly the Parent board that originally set up the restrictions objects. (What can explain the objection?)
1) Childrens will pressure the parents to purchase other products visible in the educational programs.
2) If the time is restricted any further, Advertising companies would produce more effective ads to adjust.
3) There are more hours on the weekends which could influence the children minds.
A CEO has recently outsourced all the packaging of the company’s products due to the large number of complaints received from customers. The newly designed packaging from the contractors is well received by customers. Recently there is a certain product that the company must make available before its competitors. However, the CEO has cancelled outsourcing of this product for packaging. (Justify the CEO action).
1) The packaging contractors are also taking orders to design & package from the competitors
2) Outsourcing the packaging to the contractors would involve redesigning which is a year away.
3) Newly designed packagings from the contractors are sent back by a complaining minority.
English is a difficult language to learn, as the grammatical spelling are only responded by children over three years old. However, Turkish is much easier in comparison. Children master the language much faster earlier stage and __________________________________ (Fill in)
Turkey has revamped its language so that the language structures (script?) are much easier to assimilate to the culture and nation. (correlate much higher to the nations culture?)
Txxxx and Pxxxx ethnicity has distinctive writing scripts (but there are many common similarities in their language), even though they are in the same country. Recently a politician suggested that both groups adopt a common linga franca to foster national attitude. However, it is incorrect, as there are numbers of examples where groups with same language but different scripts exist. (Error in the rebuttal) # ONLY for CONSIDERATION!!!

Some economist believed that increased savings from individuals would help to improve the economy in United States. Their reasoning is that if everyone put more money into savings, there would be a large sum of funds available to be lent out. This would drive the interest rates down and provide an incentive for business to borrow and expand. When businesses do so, there would be more funds utilized in productivity which stimulates growth and consumption. Which, in turn would improve the economy by large.
However, this is a faulty believe for which as low interest rates does not always result in businesses expanding. As there are other factors which firms consider before investing into expansions, interest rates are not the solely determinate. The rate of return is also another huge factor. If there is a fear of reduced profit margin due to the general population reluctance in consuming then many businesses would rather not expand. Imagine the result when everyone saves 10% of their wages which indeed generates a large sum for borrowing, but in doing so forces companies to either cut back on their expenditures or lay off workers to counterbalance the reduction in profits. Thus even if the whole population continues to save 10% of their wages, it would be at a lesser rate compared to before due to wages cuts or redundancies. In turn would stagnant the economy and force businesses to be even more conservative in borrowing money or expanding. Therefore, mass savings would be most unlikely to achieve the economy upturn that was hoped for but instead would cripple and create and economy crisis.
True to be said, even though there would be an

Most tax payers are in support of (vote for) higher corporation taxes. They do not see themselves impacted from such event but rather corporations and stakeholders. What individual tax payers do not realize is that the rise in tax would be distributed to them through the forms of lower wages and higher consumer prices.
Simply, the increase in corporation taxes would induce companies to decrease investments as the profit margins would be much reduced due to heftier tax regimes. Consequence of that is corporations may forgo expansions that create more jobs; instead a cut back on wages or reduction of labor force could occur. This would impact directly on the individual tax payer. Even worse, if corporations decide not to invest and grow, the stable market means less job openings becoming available. This would decrease the job to applicant ratio, as more applicants apply for the amount of jobs. Not only that, corporations could reduce wages even further as they can afford to pay less for the same in a growing market of unemployed labor. There is also the possibility of businesses shifting offshore to other countries with lower corporation taxes. When businesses relocate to countries with either lower tax rate or wages, in turn it diminishes the wages in its native country. In fact, research has been conducted to verify this result. Scientist (Historians) examined 72 countries over 22 years and have found a high correlation between increasing corporation taxes and reduction in wages. It is found that for countries that had an increase in corporation tax rate, there is a wage lull in the following 5 years. This situation could be easily exacerbated in the sense that higher corporation taxes directly impact on the individual tax payers. Also found in the research is that decreases in corporation tax rates in a country would result in decreases in the wages of its neighboring country.

2 Detailed (infer type) Q
During the period of Permian, large extinction of species occurred on earth. Historians attribute this partially to the intense seismographic movements of earth. Resulting in multiple volcanic eruptions during these times which is another factor contributing to the extinction of species. Volcanic activities causes (5 negative points ……..) Toxic fumes, Increase Temperature, Oxidation blah blah blah which have short term effects. However, regardless how destructive the volcanoes are or widespread its effect, there should not be as much species exterminated.
Recently, Geochemists have discovered a large carbon deposit in the region of XXXX compared to the same substrate level in other regions. This lead to the theory sea levels dropped significantly during that period. With sea levels dropping, many habitats are exposed to air, causing a chain reaction through absorption of oxygen and release of carbon dioxide by the marine organisms exposed. At this point large land masses knitted together to form the super-continent Pangea. Deoxygenation begin to occur, with more and more carbon released into the atmosphere, further exacerbating the situation. The exposed habitat continues to convert oxygen into carbon dioxide. This resulted in _------------------- followed by (4x changes) instability in the climate, further oxidation in the air, less oxygen in the water as there is insufficient oxygen in the atmosphere, which decimated marine organisms along the shore habitat. Then volcanic activities ( This is where answer is) blah blah blah. Finally sea levels rise again submerging and destroying the coastal habitats. As the seawater are much reduced in oxygen levels now.

1 main idea
(Consideration ONLY!!!)

Many people reported color Black leaving a bitter taste and some sees a red flash in number 5s. This is considered to be Synaesthesia, a joining together of sensations that are normally experienced separately. Some synaesthetes experience colours when they hear or read words, whilst others may experience tastes, smells, shapes or touches in almost any combination. The sensation are usually automatic and cannot be turned on or off. It tends to run in the family with high correlations to inherent genetics. Basically, it’s a neurologically based phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.
It cannot be faked and subjects in experiments are consistently correct. The most well know tests are modified versions of the Stroop effect. Standard Stroop paradigm, it is harder to name the ink of color of the word ‘red’ when it is printed in red rather then blue. Likewise, a grapheme; a colour synesthete is presented with the digit 9s they experience a set distinctive stimulus. A test widely known as the pop test Ramachandran and Hubbard (2001), when conducted on volunteers, the answer was crystal clear. We wondered what would happen if we showed the mixed numbers to synesthetes who experience, for instance, red when they see a 5 and green with a 2. We arranged the 2's so that they formed a triangle. If synesthesia were a genuine sensory effect, our subjects should easily see the triangle because for them, the numbers would look colored. This result proves that the induced colors are genuinely sensory and that synesthetes are not just making things up. It is impossible for them to fake their success. Unlike normal subjects, synesthetes correctly reported the shape formed by groups of numbers up to 90 percent of the time (exactly as nonsynesthetes do when the numbers actually have different colors). Whereas non-synesthetes could only score 30-40% consistently.
