The answer is (d)

請問(A)不行嘛? Now也是名詞, 不能做主詞來用嘛?

now 是時間副詞
並不是名詞
所以不能當主詞

可是Now真的可以是名詞喲!!
這是Yahoo奇摩字典裡面的範例:
Now is the best time to visit Paris.
目前是造訪巴黎的最佳時節

be動詞後方應該放名詞或形容詞做為修飾主詞之用
例：
Taipei is a city.
The scenery is beautiful.

可是這個over所帶的是一個介系詞片語，不是名詞或形容詞
所以就錯囉！

可是.... 這句我從CNN上面查來的話:
It is also over 40 years since 1959, when thousands of Tibetans began their life in exile.
還有: It is over 100 years old Now.
都是be動詞後面加上介係詞片語耶...
