there 可以用have or has 的時侯呢?
There have been many cases of reserchers and inventors making major ..
there are many cases of reserchers and inventors making major .....

1.there絕對不能跟have or has一起用
have通常用在"有生命的擁有",ex: John has 3 daughters.
There is a book on the desk.
(不會用The desk has a book之類的吧...
There are many books on the desk.
There
is a book on the desk."
There
has been a book on the desk."
For example, many important discoveries have been made by accident. There have been many cases of reserchers and inventors making major breakthroughs while they were actually trying to solve another problem or create a different device.
"There have been many cases of reserchers and inventors....."
