今年入學的還可以選去Columbia

據說今年二月 一半的人已經找好畢業後的工作
模式多為internship延伸至full time job
當然Finance佔大多數
工作地點在倫敦 香港都有

生活花費只能用bloody expensive來形容
食衣住行樣樣貴
ㄧ顆花椰菜要ㄧ鎊 在香港可以買四個
巴士一趟也是ㄧ鎊 是台北的四倍
房租更是高的不像話
細節我想在校生比我更清楚啦

貴到XX，之前聽校友講，
去年Citi 5000歐 per month的offer，剛收到時很開心，
後來發現生活開銷下去，沒有比留在continent的人好到哪裡。

好久沒上站 趁還有空跟大家分享一下

今天開學第二天 學校official orientation(which is sponsered by Credit Suisse)
It was held in Lord Cricket's ground(my UK classmated told me it's one of the best cricket grounds in UK). The facility is nice and it's really amazing to see how loud the sound could be when 315 ppl were talking at the same time, like a traditional Chinese market as u can guess!!

Anyway the orientation starts with lots of welcome from the acting Dean and ppl from MBA programme office, office of external relations.. so on and so forth.
The lunch was one of the best that I've had here in London(since it's too expensive I dun bother eat out actually but anyways), with lots of finger food/ cakes and stuff!!!!(You will be shocked at how rich or generous, if u put it another way, those mega banks can be especially they are the corporate partners of your B school) We were even given a mug of our sponsor on the second day of the orientation, was them too rich or something?

The climax of the day began in the afteroon at the event called the international citizen game, during which ppl were divided into groups based on their countries or relative geographical locations. The purpose was to highlight the characteristics of each individual country and give others tips in dealing with ppl from those places. You could hear laughter all over the place as you can find lots of humors reside in the genes of different races/countries (I.E. people from the states are really sarcastic but damn funny and British people's humor are much more different and it's really hard to master unless u master the language!!!)

For our batch the whole enrollment is 315. There are 58 countries represent and roughly,more than 85 percent of the student body is international(non- British).

So come and visit London Business School if you got time(I can't say LBS since it's easy to get ppl mixed us up with LSE, that's what they told us like more than ten times today, hahaha) and you will be surprised by the diversity of the school.

In fact for me here, Everyday's a new start and everyday's a new challenge!!! Will keep you guys posted if time allows!

Hey Paul, great to see your posting here, I was wondering where have you been since you don’t log in to msn these days. Thought I lost contact with ur guys.
Guess your pre-school trip went very well. Thanks for the update on the school since I’m going to follow your step for applying LBS, so probably you could get me some tips during my essay writing or applications. (^^)
enjoy ur b-school and try to update it here as much as possible!
