imagenooks \$m[1]:Hi Brian,
Now the million dollar question is .."Will the number of interview impact the decision of admission?" "How do they figure how many interviews are required for each canadiate? " OR is it simply because there's no available interviewer in the country where I reside?
I am just curious of the selecting process...
The number of interview definitely won't impact the decision. As I know, INSEAD will try its best to arrange two interviews. Due to the lack of senior alums in certain countries (Taiwan included), however, one interview is quite normal. The one I heard the most is a guy running a car magazine... Well, actually, never heard of anyone receiving two interviews in Taiwan.
Just quote what I read in BW forum:
"The guy who got admitted last year said that people who interview you are not trying to understand if you fit some school standards, they are just trying to understand if they want to meet you in the future on INSEAD alumni sessions.
Think, it is very true. I had 2 interviews and they were both very friendly and exciting. No special tricks, no really tough questions - they were all around why MBA, why now, why INSEAD, career goals and some hobby/extracurricular stuff. My interviewers just wanted to see what I am."
My 2 cents.
