How to ship things back to Taiwan???

I've just been graduated recently and I want to ship some books and clothes back to Taiwan. I went to US post office and got this surprising news: USPS does not do any boat shipping anymore!! All the international shipments are done through aircraft.

Does anyone know where I can find a shipping company with a lower rate? I've tried several international shipping/moving companies. The min weight is 2000 lbs and the min cost is at least USD 1200. ;''(

What city do you live in?
If you live in LA, you can try lXcXy moving company.
