昨天收到CEIBS一封跟錄取學生索取個人profile的信,我想大多數的MBA應該都會有類似的要求吧,而且我相信格式大概大同小異。突然有一個想法,若台灣每個今年確定要去念MBA的學生都把這些給各自學校的profile交出來集中成冊(當然是自願的),對許多人應該都很有參考價值,例如這些跨校MBA間的networking,head hunter業界以及正要申請MBA的人。
不過這當然是有執行的難度,一個可能的作法是像學校畢業紀念冊製作一樣,有興趣的人可以預付一點工本費,當然這工本費應該適當的cover製作的人力成本甚至一些資助咖啡店的小額捐款,這可以提升大家的profile在job market跟MBA network的能見度,而且還不需多浪費一次工謝這些東西。畢竟詳細的resume或essay是有點private,但這種簡短且原本就要放在各校手冊上的公開資料,應該比較沒有顧慮。當然,另一種作法就是leverage現成的人脈網絡網站,像是linkist之類的(有人推薦其他更好的嗎?),這或許也是一種變通的作法,而且資料可隨每人career發展不斷更新。畢竟,找好工作時,人脈跟head hunter都是不可或缺的利器吧。A sudden thought to share with you all.

2) Brief description of yourself * (no more than 200 words). Chinese students are supposed to provide both English and Chinese versions while overseas students can provide English version only
3) Your industry, function and preferred English Name
