問一下Junior Consultatnt/Associate 和 Research/Business Analyst的申請資歷？

會想這麼問得原因是覺得我的學經歷好像介於兩者之間有點尷尬
我有兩年多的marketing analyst的經驗
也在加拿大拿到了MBA(Schulich School of Business at York University)，最好也曾在全球20名內

問題是我其實之前沒有考慮走consultant這條路，因為聽說consultant都超級no-life的
我一直都是想走行銷這塊，所以我MBA的specialization也是Maarketing & Strategic Management
在MBA的project裡在加上之前工作內容也有點client advisory，現在有想試試consulting
不過因為之前沒想過，所以在學校沒有非常重視GPA，畢業成績只有中上而已

看了公司的網站，通常都要求分數高，MBA是申請Junior Consultant/Assoicate 然後 Research/Business Analyst是給BA申請的
感覺上我丟Assoicate好像機會比較小，丟Business Analyst又怕被認為沒自信，反而不會看我的履歷

請各位指教！

you are both right.... BA has little chance, and they probably won't look at your resume if you apply for JC. But very little is still more than zero?

That's exactly what I thought. I guess just need someone to tell me to let go off the JA applications.

Any idea how I could improve my chances? Maybe the resume??? What are the key features they look for on a resume?
I was trying to see if there is a standard resume format targeting consultant positions, and couldn't find it. Maybe I wasn't looking at the right place.

Maybe you can share some thoughts on that, too.

1. Given your MBA degree and w/e, I'd suggest you to go for senior BA at McK or senior associate at BCG.

2. There is no standard format for consulting resume, and B-school format is good enough: clear , structure and limited to one page.

3. You probably need to polish your resume more: to emphaize more about your leadership, analytical skill, w/e excellence, and acedemic excellence.

4. Lastly, both Mck and BCG are really picky about schools. They do have the so called "core schools" for recruiting. If you are not from any of the core schools, then you have to be very outstanding in terms of w/e.

I'll encourage you to just apply online. Recruiting manager will decide the most appropriate position for you if they find you qualified.
