[問題]請問各位上了西北IMC or MBA program的人

小女子是要去念明年的秋季班
托福已經考完 CBT270
工作經驗3年 :smile

想請問大家GMAT都考幾分
以及一些實質上準備的建議
因為這兩個program我都很想念
西北幾乎可以說是我唯一想念的一所學校
但是我真的對這所知有限
所以希望大家給我ㄧ些資訊
以及準備的方向

sorry but am not trying to discourage you or something. am just wondering how you can "want this school only" while at the same time "don't know much about its gmat requirement."

my doubt is your homework on both programs has been only a quick look at the programs' websites.

for IMC, honestly i have no idea. but for mba... can i know why you want NW so badly that it becomes "the only one" you'll ever want to attend? Admittedly NW's mba program has its own unique characteristics, but did you also review mba programs at other schools?

if you did, then you should be well aware of NW's average gmat.

For the application processes, a Q&A is out there on the very top of this board, and in my own opinion should be 60% enough to give you a clue. To join the fall semester next year, you need to finish GMAT a.s.a.p. and start writing your essays. This applies to no matter which mba program that starts next fall.

BTW, I strongly believe that TOEFL CBT 270 is very much far from enough (though it may pass the school's requirement) for you to survive at NW's mba program, especially considering NW mba program's biggest features (I believe you should know them much better than do I). I'm not telling you to re-take the TOEFL, but just want to encourage you to really improve yourself in English before you attend the school next year.

Sorry if my post seems frustrating... but I hope you get frustrated here, rather than on NW's campus after you have spent invaluable $$ and time... ;bear

是牛系吧，不見得任何科系都很牛、都很難申請吧?
不過私立學校，盤纏總是要準備得多一點

I prefer to leave the link because this link might merely be a start point for her to do further research on NW... :) IMC is not included so she still has to find out related info by herself.
