我覺得A和B都是平衡(extent平衡),A的句意也沒有錯,

只是句子重心不同,

(A)的keeping down ~~修飾 poor currency exchange rates ,所以A比較強調名詞(exchange rate)

而(B)用句子描述"差勁的匯率使跨國公司利潤下降"的程度 , B比較強調這個過程

另外B的are keeping 也符合時態,

看完整句句意後,B句的重心會比較優

但其實差距很細微 真正考試的時候應該很難分辨@@@@@@
