請教, 有人申請UCriverside嗎?

各位好...
有人申請UCriverside嗎?
我前幾天收到University of California, Riverside寄來的信,
有兩頁,我把它PO在下面,請問這樣算是錄取了嗎?
還有MGT 403是什麼課程啊?
請各位解惑...

I am pleased to inform you that the admissions Committee and I have reviewed your application and are recommending to the Graduate Division that you be admitted to the MBA program at The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. All decisions concerning admission are made by the Dean of the Graduate Division. In the near future, you will be receiving official notification concerning the final decision on your application from the office.

Our evaluation of your prerequisite requirement is attached. Students accepted to AGSM must complete program prerequisites within their first two quarters of study.

Dr. Charlotte Weber, our assistant Dean, and Professor Jorge Silva-Risso, our Graduate Advisor, will assist you in developing your academic program with us. They will be contacting you upon your formal acceptance into our program.

我之前也收到這封信 但不是錄取通知
後來學校才會發e-mail通知你最後的結果
至於403那門課 應該是微積分之類的基礎課程
如果你之前沒有修過這部分的話 才需要的

我剛剛問我同學，他去年上了ucriverside，
MGT 403就是微積分課程
在開學時會有考試，就是waiver examination，通過了就不用修那課程
我同學說很簡單，他當時看了一本"輕鬆唸微積分"(書名大概是這樣，他有點忘了)念一個晚上就過關了，不用看太難的部份

那爲什麼要通知去上先修課程呢

基本上美國的學校大部分都會有這樣的通知信，

椰林天天有人問，天天有人看不懂自己的admission，

學校的政策是，科系先審，審查通過後會建議學校發入學通知，

收到這樣的信99.99%的機會就是已經得到admission了，

除非學校對你有意見，但這樣的情形微乎其微，所以，恭喜你了。

P.S.版上有這間學校的在學生。

MGT403是微積分統計的基礎課程
如果你大學修過相關課程,而距離入學超過三年,則可以考waiver exam
如果沒有過,則"第一學期"就需要上MGT403（沒有計入畢業學分,因此有點浪費時間)
而且將會擋修statistic, management science兩門,
因此,最好準備一下,順利pass考試～

p.s. 你是秋季班的嗎？暑假會有新生說明會,到時候學長姐會提供筆記,所以...別太緊張囉！

沒有人能確定不寄正本會不會有影響,
申請費,快遞費對於往後的學費而言,都算是小錢吧
通常,資料未齊全之前,學校不會作審核...
