請教UIC...伊利諾州立大學芝加哥分校

謝謝大家給的意見,我想我應該會去UIC了...
當初也是為了大城市而選這家,此外聽說UIC有提供給學生免費的捷運跟公車卡..蠻吸引我的....
現在困擾我的是好像很少人申請這家,雖然太多台灣人當同學感覺英文比較難學好,但是也不希望一個都沒有...
有人也要去UIC嗎? 或是今年也要去芝加哥的大大......大家互相照應一下吧..

UIC台灣人很多吧，可能是剛好我們版上不多吧
而且還有與證基會合作的台灣人專班(我記得是財務專班，全班都是台灣人，不知後來有沒有加其他學門)

我很想去Chicago. 我原本在ABN AMRO bank台北分行這家銀行在 Chicago and Midwest 是最大外商銀行
但願我成績一般無法 apply Chicago, 西北, UIUC 條件有到 UIC 但是目前只能申請 IIT 了

請問您申請IIT是 MBA OR MSF呢...不知道您的APPLICATION STATUS

目前如何? 這篇雖然是討論UIC但是還是忍不住問問....呵呵

I apply to MBA, but I have browsed the website and learned that the GMAT score in MSF is 600 and MBA is 500. I have read the other discussion <<IIT 是個好學校>> the original writer said that MSF is better than MBA.
Could you tell me which program are you admitted?
By the way, I joined the chat room and next the school sent e-mail to notify me that my application fee can be waived, but ironically I delivered the package at the same day! I should send my application later to save the money.

請教前輩們,

收到綠取信(admission)不代表正式被錄取嗎?
我收到的admission (非UIC) 上面也有寫"還要經過Graduate admission的審核才能確定"類似wording, 請問這樣是代表還有可能被拒絕囉?

Graduate admission的審核應該是在檢視你的資料是不是正確等等.
然後由他們發正式的錄取信跟I20等........(我UIC的通知上面寫的)
所以..應該通常受到系所推薦之後,通常就是上了.......

UIC所謂的U-Pass是每學期發一次,不限轉乘和不限次數的搭乘bus和train(捷運),但是暑假沒有,坐車要自費

那可以再請問在芝加哥唸書有必要要買車嗎...
如果沒有車,生活方不方便呢,比如買菜等等........

我想請問一下,我目前正在考慮IIT和UIC這兩家該選哪一家
IIT的MSF program給我學費30%的獎學金,而UIC則是錄取MBA,我很煩惱該選哪一家,有沒有人比較了解的麻煩給點意見,謝謝!!!
