各位好想請教大家的意見這三所學校妳會選哪一間? Why and why not?

I was given scholarships by Purdue and UIUC. The amount from Purdue Krannert is larger.

Too bad I cannot make it to Krannert Weekend due to job responsibilities...

UCI 今年的排名進步很多　加上氣候和its personal career service, 真的越來越吸引人

但是在加州生活真的很貴... :^)

真惱人啊

My assumption: you are an international student, needing H-1B sponsorship (work permit) to work in the US.

I think it depends on what your objectives are.

If you're coming back to Taiwan afterwards, I don't think it makes much of a difference.

If you want to work in the US, I think UC Irvine gives you the best shot. The track record of UIUC and Purdue Taiwanese grads finding jobs in the US isn't all that great.

I am not saying going to UC Irvine is a guarantee, but the reality is that California is still most friendly to foreigners.

I am legally allowed to work in the States. (US citizenship) And, I will seek for job opportunities there...hopefully. Will that make my school selection easier?

So, in your opinion, ranking does not really matter that much when it comes to finding a job prior to MBA?

If you're a US citizen, I think it makes things a lot easier.

If you want to work in California afterwards, definitely go to UC Irvine.

If you want to work in the Chicago area, UIUC is probably a good choice.

On a slightly different note, if you have US citizenship why didn't you apply to the part-time program at USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley or other higher-ranked programs? They might offer more value for you.

I planned on attending a full-time MBA program. So, I didn't look into part-time ones. I am not a resident of the state of California. So, actually, it'll be pricy for me to live there. Purdue gives me scholarship but UCI is unlikely going to do so...

It sounds like you like CA a lot. Do you live there or have any associations with it? ;))

grew up in Calif...

you can establish residency fairly easily...just file a state tax return...

also if you're a resident/citizen, you can always get subsidized federal loans
