其他選項都沒有問題 只是不太了解為何B可以exposes a serious flaw in the argument made in the second sentence

我的感覺題目是說D國的企業家譴責D國干涉A國的內戰是為了確保在A國的D國企業能在內戰中大賺錢 而D國解釋說 他們花了8 billion 的費用 但在A國的D國企業於內戰中僅能賺4 billion 所以D國並非為了使在A國的D國企業大賺錢(其實在這裡D國的反駁就有點怪怪的 為啥花的比賺的多就代表D國不是為了確保在A國的D國企業賺錢?搞不好原本是賠錢的 現在賺4billion就賺很多了)
B是說D國大部分的聯邦費用是由那些不賺錢的企業承擔的?(這樣翻沒錯吧?)

可是看不出來B可以weakenD國的解釋呀?

(我推測是不是因為D國的費用是其他不賺錢的企業承擔 所以D國花在干涉A國內戰的費用 不能用來當作在A國的D國企業賺的錢多寡的比較基礎 因為那8 billion已經有別的企業承擔了 所以在A國的D國企業賺4 billion 就等於D國實賺4 billion呀?)

我的看法是和你類似
因為D國的federal expense是由其他並無在這中間獲利的企業承擔,只不過我覺得這裡的industry prifit 應該是指題目中提到的,而非說那些企業本身不賺錢

表示對於其他的企業而言還是可以從中獲利

主要從題目中的因果關係來看
費用比收益大導致沒干涉內戰的結論

假若實際負擔費用的人根本就不涉及利益
而涉及利益的人又不需負擔費用
則可說那段因果關係純粹是規避嫌疑的藉口
